Deputy Sheriff (Gove County, KS)
The Gove County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a Deputy Sheriff. Responsibilities include routine patrol, criminal investigations, arrest, and traffic related duties. Gove County is located on I-70 and if you have a desire to work criminal interdiction this is a terrific opportunity for you!
TYPE: Full Time
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant must have US citizenship, a High School diploma or equivalent, be 21 years of age, have a valid Kansas driver’s license, and have good moral character. No felony or domestic violence convictions. Must also successfully pass a criminal background investigation.
SALARY: The starting salary for a commissioned law enforcement officer is $38,000 annually.
Equipment supplied, along with a take-home vehicle.
