Corrections Officers Needed

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office is now accepting applications for two Corrections Officers. The jail staff works 12-hour shifts, 4 days on and 4 days off. This will be for the night shift, but will be trained for days and nights.

Benefits include BC/BS health insurance, vacation and sick leave, KPERS state retirement plan with starting wage at $18.18/hr.


Requirements: Candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent with no felony convictions. Candidates will be required to take a Corrections Officer selections test and medical physical. Successful candidates will also attend the Kansas Jail Training Academy KJTA).
