Investigator (Finney County Sheriff's Office)

The Finney County Sheriff's Office is looking for a certified officer to join our Investigations Division. The right candidate will have experience as a certified law enforcement officer with Investigator/Detective experience highly preferred. This position will require someone who can join our team and quickly be able to function as an independent investigator for in-depth and detailed criminal cases. The candidate should have experience in interviewing victims/witnesses/suspects, crime scene and evidence procedures, working with prosecuting attorneys and testifying in court.
Base Pay:
$21.70 / Hour (negotiable based on experience)
Minimum Requirements:
- KLETC Certified
- U.S. Citizen
- At least 21 years of age
- Possess high school diploma or GED
- Possess a valid Kansas driver's license
- Be of good moral character
- No felony, domestic violence or serious misdemeanor convictions
- No Brady/Giglio issues
- Must pass psychological & physical screenings
- Must pass a background check & interview
Minimum Experience:
2 Years as a certified Law Enforcement Officer
