Position Type: Commissioned Law Enforcement Officer
Position Title: Deputy Sheriff
Agency: Coffey County Sheriff's Office

Introduction:
The Coffey County Sheriff's Office is accepting application for a full-time deputy. The Sheriff's Office is looking to hire someone with previous certification as a Kansas law enforcement officer but is not required for a starting deputy.

Salary:
Starting salary is $20.96-$29.04 an hour plus benefits. Hourly pay will be based on applicant's qualifications, certifications, experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. is required. Applicant must possess a valid Kansas driver's license. Applicant cannot have any Felony or Domestic Violence Convictions to include any diversions or expungements. Applicant must be 21 years of age to apply. You will be required to pass a physical and a Drug and Alcohol test.
