The Washington County Sheriff's Office is currently taking applications for full-time Patrol Deputy positions. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to enforcing state and local laws, taking calls for service, patrolling business and residential neighborhoods, investigating complaints/crimes, serving civil process, and protecting persons and/or property.

Type: Full-Time

Salary: Starting pay for non-certified is $16.95/hour, or $18.20/hour for KLETC certified. Pay is negotiable depending on experience and/or education. We have an excellent benefits package to include health insurance, KPERS retirement, life insurance, generous paid time off accrual, and other optional benefits.

Minimum qualifications: At least 21 years of age, US citizenship, high school diploma or equivalent, possess Kansas driver's license or ability to obtain, no felony or major misdemeanor convictions.
