Minimum Qualifications

*At least 21 years of age
*HS Diploma or GED
*No felony convictions, diversion or expungements
*No conviction for domestic battery
*Must not have a history of criminal or improper personal conduct that may affect suitability for performing police work
*Valid Kansas Drivers License within 6 months
*Good Moral Character
*Must pass Background Investigation, Physical Exam, Drug Screen, psychological evaluation
*Must reside within neighboring counties or in the city of Hiawatha, KS within 6 months
*Ability to successfully complete all steps in the hiring process

* Salary: $31,200 to $38,000 *
