The Morris County Sheriff's Office has an opening for a full time Road Deputy. Deputies work 12-hour shifts on a 3-2-2 rotation with every other weekend off. Non certified officers start at $21.63. Higher rates of pay depend on years of experience. Kansas Law Enforcement Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Applicants must;

• Be 21 years of age and a U.S. Citizen
• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Pass a Background Investigation, Drug Screen and Psychological Testing
• Process a Valid Driver's License
• No Felony Convictions
• No Brady/Giglio issues

• Patrol
• Criminal Investigations
• Narcotic Investigations
• Traffic Enforcement
• Serve Civil Process
• Courtroom Security
