The Sheridan County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the position of Sheriff's Deputy. This position is responsible for enforcing state and local laws, protecting life and property, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, conducting investigations, and maintaining a visible and professional law-enforcement presence within Sheridan County.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Kansas driver's license (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to successfully complete:
- Background investigation
- Drug screening
- Physical and medical examination
- Must meet Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) standards
- Certified law-enforcement officers are encouraged to apply, but certification is not required
